Walking on Wednesday

I woke feeling much brighter today which is good.  The dogs went for a slightly longer walk first thing, so Percy was obviously feeling brighter and more energetic as well.

As I suspected my husband didn't join me for the group walk, opting to stay in bed!  I wasn't at all surprised, although a little disappointed, but that soon went as I enjoyed a good chat with one of the walkers, which I probably wouldn't have done if he had been with me.  It was a lovely walk today, mostly across fields etc...

One of the fields had quite a few cows in so I stopped to take a photo.  Just as I did the cow popped its head forward to say hello.  I still just managed to capture the shot and then gave it a good stroke which it seemed to enjoy.

The grass looked so lush and green.

We stopped off at the local pub on the way home for our customary tea/coffee and a chat.  What a pleasant way to spend the morning.

Just a bit of general housework this afternoon.  Dinner is already made from last night and I have a band rehearsal this evening which I am looking forward to.

Well better get back to the vacuuming, just thought I'd have a few minutes sit down with a cuppa to update my blog.
