Tuesday in the Garden.

I'm wearing my green gardening gloves out, so started using the 'posh' ones today.  They aren't as good for prickly things, but otherwise work well.

I spent some time in the front garden weeding and filled up my round weed bin which then went into the garden waste bin.  It is chocka block full now ready for collection on Thursday.

Some lovely flowers in the garden.

Some beautiful blossom appearing on the trees.

Lovely to see colour in the garden.

I made some seed pots from toilet rolls.

I've planted some French Runner beans in these.

I planted some out of date flowers - Aubretia Purple Cascade in the plum cardboard holders so it will be interesting to see if they come up.

I have added a row of beetroot and a row of carrots next to the parsnip row in the top bed I dug over last week.

I had sprouts with my lunch today - salmon sandwich with home made bread.

It was Jeremy and Murphy's turn out in the run today.

  1. It must be quite exciting watching your new garden unfurl its petals, and seeing different things pop up here and there.
The toilet roll seed pots are a great idea :)

  2. Beautiful colours. Nice to work in a new garden and start new growth. We have been setting seeds and enjoying the process. Stay safe.
