Terrific Thursday.

Another glorious day, warm and still.


On my walk today I saw in the distance a cormorant and a seagull on rocks in the distance.


Can't get much better than this!  (Well unless it is an NZ beach I guess ;) )


Watching the waves lapping the shore.








I saw these three birds flying over head.  Their beaks look quite curved, as can be seen in the lower photos.







Just look at this blossom against the blue of the sky.




Back at home, a crow was busy seeing the buzzard off.


You can see his beak open, he was squawking away!




Beautiful flowers in the garden.







The butterfly mat I laid a while back has started to produce some seedlings.  Looking forward to seeing what flowers there will be.
