Slow Sewing Saturday

The last few days I have really been struggling to get up in the mornings, certainly haven't felt like going for a walk... can't quite put my finger on the reason why...just feel really lethargic...so am wondering perhaps it is an effect of coming off the steroids.  So as it was also a bit overcast yesterday and I didn't really feel like doing much I spent the day working on the newest batch of tiny rag dolls.

I started working on their faces.

All done, hair next.

All but one of these little dolls I made crocheted wigs for this time.

I made them shoes, plus the other batch that I hadn't yet made shoes for.

I knitted a purple dress.

Here are the two batches that are still works in progress.

I have five aprons made from the other day, but need to work on their clothing, which I hope to do this week.

After dinner I finally felt like going for a walk, so went out early evening.

The sun was setting so there was a pinkish glow in the sky, although my camera doesn't show it true.

You can see the pink reflection in one of the pools of water in the middle of the picture.

The ships have started to put on their lights.

So although a 'lazy' day in terms of physical activity, not an unproductive day.

  1. We all need a lazy day every now and then, trying to keep structure in the days is getting hard, have spare time is not normal to many of us. Hopefully we can all learn to ensure we keep time for us, when this is eased. Love your photo's as always, I live close to Portsmouth so I see your views from the other side.

  2. Those little dolls are adorable you seem to have got a lot done. Glad you felt a little better and were able to go for a walk, loving the pink in the skies.
