Thursday.

I went for a quiet walk this morning, again not as far as I usually go as I still don't quite feel 100 % after the headache/migraine yesterday.

Always lovely to see pretty bluebells.

I finished the first of my micro greens with lunch the other day so prepared some more seeds this morning.

I will start having these ones with tomorrow's lunch.

I have planted out the rest of the courgettes as they were getting a bit too big for their tray I had sowed them in.  I have planted a couple in the large bed in the orchard area, one by the rosemary and another by what will hopefully be a wild flower bed...slightly random places, but I they needed to go somewhere and it will be interesting to see what happens.

Something has been in my greenhouse and pulled up some of my sugar snap pea seedlings which is frustrating as they are broken off.  The tray was on the ground, so I am guessing it might have been some rodent, as I don't think birds can bet in there as I have a screen to put across it during the day and during the night the door is closed.  I have put the tray on a shelf now...I am just lacking in shelves in there as never managed to get anymore before lockdown came into force.

I really need more compost, but not sure if any of the garden centres are open or delivering so will have to do some research.

I made a cushion to lean against when sitting out in my seat reading and having a cuppa during the day.

  1. I'm sure some little furry thing is munching in my greenhouse, I covered all my seedlings last night, I might have to cover them every night.

    1. It is annoying isn't it when you see the promise of what is to come, and then something nibbles it!
