A Busy Productive Thursday!

I went on a super early walk this morning, along the cliff path, then back along the undercliff path, down to the bay and then back home.

I saw several badger setts.

Lovely views, even though it was more overcast today.

Seat with a view.

Bluebells in the woods

The sea was very calm this morning.

A ship out at sea.

So peaceful.

Back at home...

Last night I made some biscuits to go in my tin.

I forgot to put on a loaf of bread last night, so I tried out a recipe I saw on IG yesterday.

It was relatively quick and easy to make...the longest part was waiting for the oven to heat up!

One of the sprouts are growing, not sure about the other.

My second table arrived today which was a surprise.

I've just put it in the room for now, need to spend some time working out how best to have the room.

I've finally found my sewing mojo I think...and have started some more Tiny Rag Dolls.

I am using this fabric above for one of them.

I am starting with two. One is for my neighbour.

I used some of the left over wool roving that I had left over from the other doll I have made.

The first...

Two little dolls ready for hair, features and clothing.

I spent the afternoon in the garden...

Lovely to see a bluebells in the garden.

Some Broccoli seeds arrived in the post.

The things I uncovered in the garden today!

The wire I unfolded and then bent to make cages over the strawberries.

Not sure what I will do with the bouys!  I found another in the undergrowth as well.

This looks useful...

I managed to unravel it, and may put it at the back of the garden where there is no fence...we were going to fence it, but all those plans have been put on hold with me down here on my own.

I dug over some more of the garden, and have extended it.

I've left the fruit bushes in.

A pretty pansy - this is at the front of the house in one of the planters I did the other week.

I've planted two rows of beet root, and hopefully the badgers will leave them alone.

The fence around my beans...I could do with more of these, but can't get them down here.

Pretty white flowers in the bank.

    1. Thanks, the fence round the beans was part of what I had left over from the fencing I used on the bank to 'Percy Proof' it for our little blind dog...but he isn't down here anyway, he is still with hubby due to all that is going on. I might have to raid the rest of the fence for my other raised beds.

  2. Your garden is coming on really well, and I love the way you are using all the bits and pieces that you have been finding around the place. :) xx

    1. Yes, trying to make use of all I can find...wish there were a few more planks of wood and poles, now they would be useful! Not quite sure what I am going to do with buoys!

    2. Perhaps you could create a tiny corner with a bit of a nautical theme? The buoys would look good hanging from something, or twined around a pot maybe. Have fun :)

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment. I am so glad you enjoyed the post. I am aiming to put out positive posts and if I inspire others, that is even better. Keeping busy also stops one thinking too much!
