The Garden

All the Christmas Decorations were put away on Saturday and we also took down a lot of empty boxes from the loft to crush and put in the recycling bin. So a pretty industrious day.  Sunday was spent much more restful and in the late afternoon we went to see our lovely daughter in law and had a delicious roast dinner with her.

Yesterday when I was cleaning out the guinea pigs I spotted what I think might have been a Red Kite circling overhead, but by the time I had gone in to get my camera it had gone.  I did however manage to get a photo of Mrs Blackbird and our friendly little Robin.

There is still some colour in the garden which is nice as with the exception of Friday which was stunning with a beautiful blue sky (when I had to spend most the day travelling to and from London for my physio, the days have been incredibly grey and dull.

  1. It's good to see some colour in the garden. I've got primroses and crocuses are popping up too. I'm hoping that it doesn't get ahead of itself and get destroyed by March and April storms or frosts (the latter being less likely here).
