Thankful Thursday

I am thankful I still have the ability to knit, even if it does tend to cause a bit of flareup of the neuropathic pain most of the time.  I now have a hat to tuck in my pocket for when it is windy - to stop earache!  I knitted it with some of my NZ wool I got last year.

I'm thankful I live in such a lovely location and can take photographs of the beauty that surrounds me

I'm thankful I had this bay to myself today - it is one of my local favourites and it was nice to be able to go down on it and have a walk along the beach without loads of people as it has been rather too crowded recently for my liking.  Although not as bad by any means as some places!

Today's walk: 3.5 miles.

I'm working out the different routes I do and what mileage they are which will be helpful in achieving my goal of 100 miles this month.

  1. The Passionflower really is amazing. I'm not sure that I've ever seen one in real life though.

  2. Yay, a fellow earache-from-the-wind sufferer! I always wear a hat in the wind or else get earache, but the rest of the family think I am crazy :)

    1. It is the only time I ever get earache fortunately, but boy it is unpleasant when I do, hence the hat!

  3. Passionflowers are beautiful. We had two climbing up the front wall at our last house. The beach looks so peaceful.
