Just a short walk yesterday.
Walk: 2.4 miles
Pretty flowers in my garden.
I spent all morning inside yesterday doing housework and a few jobs that needed doing.
I moved the washing machine round ready for when the freezer arrives. I'll have to move the little cupboard out and find new home for that when it arrives. Eventually I will put shelves up on the wall for storage.
I picked a few sweet pea blossoms.
The afternoon was spent helping my neighbour trim the hedge between our properties - it was so tall it was touching the house roof. I now have piles of shrubbery and branches to try and get rid of.
This morning was beautiful and I had breakfast on the deck.
Such a wonderful view to eat breakfast.
I spent the morning in the front garden, trimming, weeding etc. The earth is so very very dry though.
I had a good walk this afternoon along the coast to Ventnor.
Such beautiful views, it was a really lovely walk.
A lovely pond fed by springs.
The path once went down here, but no more.
Birds flying over the sea.
Total walked today: 5.5 miles, plus 1 mile in the garden.
It sounds as though you have a good neighbour who you helped cut your mutual hedge. I remember you have mentioned other not-so-good neighbours with asbestos.
ReplyDeleteSitting outdoors to eat breakfast on a sunny morning with a gorgeous view sounds heavenly :)
