My Garden in May 2023: Part One

Well I don't seem to be very good at blogging anymore, but here is an update for May 2023.  The first of two parts (I think)

So starting at the beginning of May the colour is starting with the early flowering plants.

Beautiful Bluebells by the pond.

The corner of the house, looks gorgeous.

Blossom on one of our hedge bushes.

Flowering Chives.

Now for the last week...

Glorious roses!

The front garden, lovely and neat and tidy, and my little oasis of calm.

This rose is huge.  I didn't quite have my hand in the right place to illustrate it properly.

This rose is down by our front gate and smells gorgeous and is a prolific producer of beautiful roses.

Our bank certainly isn't bare earth like it was when I first moved in.

It is a riot of colour at this time of year, and will only get more colourful over the next couple of weeks.

So pleased with this rhododendron, it is looking fabulous.

The white rhododendron is pretty too, but I should have picked the dead flowers off before photographing it!

More to follow tomorrow.

    1. Thank you so much for commenting and sticking with me. I struggle to spend much time on the computer, especially at this time of year when I want to make the most of the weather, garden and dogs etc... :)

    1. Thanks so much Graham, I haven't been in 'blog world' for quite some time. I need to make more effort, but there always seems to be something else that takes my attention and time. The flowers and roses are glorious!
