Monday Walk

A few photos from my Monday walk along the beach from with my son (we didn't go Sunday as I wasn't feeling the best and the weather wasn't great).  It works out well going for a walk after I have cleaned his flat as I am already over there.

Under the pier.

Waves crashing over the boardwalk.

Looking back towards Sandown.

  1. I love to see the sea. I've only been to the IOW once and I loved the walks.

    1. So do I, there is something about it that just makes you feel better. There are some really fabulous walks on the Island. Most of them pretty hilly where I live, but I guess that will help to keep me fit! Fortunately Sandown to Shanklin is nice and flat along the beach front :)

  3. Is it Shanklin that has a very popular pub right on the extreme right hand end of the beach as you look out to sea? I've been a couple of times to one on the end of a beach in that area, but it was years ago and I'm hazy about it.
