Let's Fall In Love

As I had so many pictures yesterday I didn't show the ones from the gardening.

I had decided to start tackling the orchard once again, starting wit this area here...which has got rather out of control.

Some time later you can see the path - still needs to be cleared more, but it is a start.

Around the garden there are quite a few of the seven spot ladybirds.

A deep red ragged carnation, quite a few are in bud and I can see these from my kitchen window.

Today as I had predicted I was a bit sore and stiff from my work and long walk yesterday so it was an easier day today.

I did do some weeding in the front garden and filled another of these round bin fulls. I wonder how many of these I can fit in the garden waste bin?  So far I have four in there and waiting for it to break down a bit so I can squash it down some more to fit this one in there...I might be pushing my luck though! 

I had a nice morning tea with a cinnamon swirl while watching the sea.

So peaceful this morning, it was lovely.

My wild meadow mat has produced some wonderful flowers and poppies.

The two branches I covered on the cherry tree have some wonderful cherries.  Thank goodness I covered them as all the other cherries have been eaten by the birds.

I picked some to have after dinner and they were absolutely delicious!

Hope to be in the garden by 7.30 am tomorrow morning as it was way too hot today to do much gardening and I suspect tomorrow will be the same, if not hotter!
