Sea Lion Sunday.

I went on a lovely walk this morning, exploring part of a walk I haven't done before.

This part of course may look familiar

...but then I took a different track.

Looking back, a different angle/direction.

There were a few of these marker stones dotted around.

Heading down there...

So lovely and peaceful.

Pretty daisies galore.

Looking back over the slightly rugged countryside.

Down to a new bay.

Where I watched a sea lion in the water for a while.

At this stage I was wishing I had my bigger camera with me

The water looks so inviting like this, but I bet it was jolly cold

Although not for a sea lion of course!

There were some yachts out on the water.

Part of a dinosaur footprint.

Lots of tiny fossils in the rocks.

The little bay.

Walking back towards the lighthouse from the opposite direction that I usually walk.

I'd never been this way before.

I got home very refreshed although rather tired, it was a much longer walk than I had originally planned, but a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

Back at home...

Really loving my flower planters at the moment, they are putting on such a beautiful display.

I hope you all have a lovely week.
