Monday.

I saw a heron on the roof of the house across the road


I watched him for a while, as he watched...



Here he is squawking at a sea gull who started dive bombing him.


Ducking!  He didn't stay any longer as the seagull chased him away.


Some colour in the garden.  Guessing this is some kind of passion flower.



Good to see the peas growing!

Today I trimmed the best as I could some trees away from the roof of the house.  I couldn't reach all of them, but have cleared some which is good.

I planted out some more of my red onions basically where my eaten broccoli etc were.

  1. It does look like some type of passion flower - I've never seen a white one before. I felt sorry for the heron being chased away by the gulls, they can be such bullies sometimes.
