Day Ten

Today's prompt was scarecrow

Not sure mine is doing much 'scaring'

My beloved clarinet and music

It is appearing just as difficult to get an appointment to see a Rheumatologist privately as it is on the NHS.  I wonder if this is indicative of the state the NHS is in, particularly in our area, that more people are having to go privately and hence there are now waiting lists to see someone that way?  Feeling exhausted, fed up and thinking I have wasted a day on the telephone, or waiting for calls back to actually get somewhere and no progress made.

  1. Cute scarecrow. I really like the photograph - all black and white and silver.

  3. Love the photo. Sadly it took an age for Gerard to get appointments and get a diagnosis but once diagnosed his treatment and ongoing care has been second to none. This has all been on the NHS, hang on in there I know ho hard it is when you are in pain.

    1. Thank you. Amazingly I had good news this morning...I was referred to another Rheumatologist and he has an appointment next Wednesday! So pleased.

  4. I'm quite upset for you and the wait for the rheumatologist. I hope that it resolves itself quickly. I just love the scarecrow's whimsy. I wish that I had your eye for a still life photograph.

    1. Thanks Graham. You may have seen my reply to another comment, I had good news this morning in that the Rheumatologist I was supposed to be seeing has referred me to a colleague and so I will be seeing him next week.
