The highlight yesterday just before the heating people came out for I think it is the fourth time in two weeks (!), I saw a couple of Jays in the back garden which was wonderful.
I've seen one before which I have posted on this blog, but to see two on the actual lawn at the same time foraging for food was exciting.
Of course it highlighted the fact that I must clean my back windows!

DeleteI have seen Jays in a forest situation but never quite that close. That's magical. They are such shy and secretive birds. Which is very unusual for Corvidae.
