We went to visit some friends today and had a very nice fish and chips for lunch with them. I haven't had fish and chips for a very long time, so this made a nice change, and it was beautifully cooked as well, not greasy like it can often be. After lunch I took the opportunity of getting a few photos from their garden as the tulips and bluebells were putting on a good display.
A vibrant red.
Loving the raindrops on this.
Pools of water inside.
Masses of bluebells along the back garden path.
Such a wonderful display.
They certainly more than made up for the dismal and dreary day.
I love bluebells. We used to walk through a woods near where we lived and called it Bluebell Woods although I think it's real name was different.
ReplyDeleteI love the bluebells as well. I think there are a lot of 'Bluebell Woods' in the UK...there is one near us as well.
DeleteAh spring, that seems a long way off right now.
ReplyDeleteI bet it does! Seems strange even now how our seasons are opposite each other. I used to be able to say 'I was born in Spring and my birthday is in Autumn'!
DeleteBeautiful blooms … and nothing beats a really good fish and chips :0)

Ah yes the fish and chips was particularly nice!
DeleteAs our gardens are hunkering down for Winter, yours is waking up. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteOh I will enjoy, Spring is one of my favourite seasons..
