The sun has set...

The sun has set on my time in New Zealand and I am now back home in dull, grey and damp ol' blighty!  Lots of photos to show of my time in New Zealand which I will slowly work on as time permits.

Just a couple to start with...

On the 1st of April we had a lovely time at Shakespear Park on the Whangaparaoa  Peninsula.

 Tui

Wood Pigeon

I enjoyed seeing my friend Jane's new baby alpacas as did Mum and Dad

Oh I would love to have some of these one day!

  1. Good to see you back. I'd been wondering if you were back or not and hoping you'd enjoyed yur trip home. It looks beautiful - we have had some sunny weather here whilst you've been away although it is rather grey just at the moment.

    1. Oh I have been told you have had good weather while I was away, just wish we had some now! It has been a bit of a shock to come from seeing beautiful blue skies everyday to grey.

    1. I know a real shame, hopefully next time - I will make sure I have made more plans and will hire a car.

    1. Thank you, I got a few good bird photos which I am pleased about as it is not the best time of year to capture them on film.

  4. Great pictures of you with the Alpaca. At least you got there for a time. You look like your Mom!

    1. Oh dear, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing! ;-) Actually looking through photos with my Dad of Mum when she was young there are quite a few in which we look very alike.

  5. I've now lived half my life here in NZ for 9 years and I've never managed such a fabulous Tui photo. I'm rather envious.
