A Lovely Saturday Afternoon

Well it was a perfect afternoon for a lovely walk along the coastline of St Lawrence.

Primroses were spotted.

Lovely rugged coastline.

Sat on the beach for a while and contemplated the beauty

Another little flower - there were quite a few of these.  Are they a type of buttercup?

Beautiful countryside.

I joined in with a beach cleaning crew.

Filled a black sack with rubbish that had washed up, and been left behind.

Beach cleaned up, time to walk home for a cuppa.

A really great way to spend an afternoon.

  2. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Fresh air, company and doing a worthwhile job. Seeing those blue skies and the sea makes me really want to get back to our van. Only 4 weeks to go now and I can't wait. Hope you're keeping well. xx

  3. My beach walks always ended in me sitting and contemplating. I never got tired of watching the waves and could have sat there for hours. Love the old building, and great you could help with cleaning up. There seems to be so much rubbish on our beaches these days.

  5. It's always good to sit on a beach and ponder life, something about the water helps you think.
