Cornwall Holiday 2016 - Boscastle

On a wild and wet day we ventured to Boscastle.  We had to sit in the National Trust Cafe for sometime while the rain simply poured down...but that was no hardship as we enjoyed lunch AND a cream tea!

I really love this place.

There is something about it

that soothes the soul

I felt alive

It was a little windy

wet

but still beautiful

I so enjoyed walking up the cliffs

Looking down

Looking into the distance

Enjoying the flowers

Filling the senses

Enjoying the company of my three boys

Wrapped up well for the weather

It was grey - but a different kind of grey to that in surburbia

I could have spent much longer just walking, standing, watching, listening and simply being here.

Birds soaring

Making our way back to the village.

  1. What a beautiful place. I've been so close and yet I've never been there.

    1. If you ever get a chance, you must go - I am sure you will love the walks and the scenery - once your knee is up to it of course!
