Happy Mother's Day

Just some of the flowers in our garden taken over the last week.  The weather hasn't been especially brilliant the last week, damp, wet and today cold, windy and damp.  So today I have stayed tucked up inside most of the day crafting.

It is Mother's Day in New Zealand and these flowers are for my Mum (as well as the gorgeous bouquet my sister got on my behalf for Mum)

The first rose of the season

Gorgeous rhododendron

One of my favourites this yellow rose has a beautiful scent.

Taken after some rain.

Opening up still further the following day.

This surprised me, as I only transplanted the plant a few weeks ago and really didn't expect it to flower.

The strawberries have blossoms on.

This is a lovely yellow rhododendron, yet to open up properly.

Pink!
