Terrific Tuesday

I had an industrious morning in the garden, although I suspect I will have to have a day off gardening tomorrow, as I may have over done it!

I started clearing this area beside the shed some weeks ago, but only got as far as the shed floor level.

I filled up a wheelbarrow load with soil that had been on top of these slabs.  I then filled up some holes in the garden with the soil.

Looks so much better now.

Eventually I may get some nice pots to put along here.

The green bin was full, but I managed to get into it and trample it down to fit yet another load of weeds into it.

The tomato plants are starting to flower.

A few pictures from around the garden.

Roses.

This one smelt gorgeous!

This one was too high up to smell, but looked fabulous against the blue sky.

Raspberries from the garden.

I went for an evening walk.

A wild iris.

The sea looked lovely this evening.

A cruise ship.

Fishermen.

Seven Spot Ladybird.

Echium growing on the top of a rocky point.

Fantastic view from up here!

Didn't you know ships go up hill?!

More views from the top of the rocky point.

Back through a field with cows and their calves.

This little one was very inquisitive.

I think today was the hottest it has been.  My thermometer was reading 27.1 degrees celcius in the shade!
